The Invention of Harley Davidson Motorcycles

Since the invention of wheel man has always struggled and desired to make a vehicle that would help him reach long distances within short period of time. In 1905 Harley Davidson came up with new models where single cylinder was used and that became really popular in those times. It is amazing to know that Harley Davidson one of the few companies that survived the Great Depression that brought down the entire America in just a matter of time. Since Harley Davidson was not affected by the Depression they continued on their quest to launch new models that were the icons of transportation industry. During World War 2, Harley Davidson came out with models that can be used in the war by the military and than launched a military prototype model that civilians can used in that time. Harley Davidson motorcycles soon became the buzz word all across the globe and people who were passionate about riding bikes instantly fell in love with Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Though, the company went through some rough times in 1960s and 1970s, they never stopped to launch their new models and Harley Davidson motorcycles continued to flood the markets at the same speed. Finally in 1981, things began to roll in the favor of Harley Davidson and they soon began to work harder to become the most happening motorcycle company in the world. Many Japanese and German motorcycle manufacturers began to compete with Harley Davidson using the same kind of machine power and designs but there was no stopping to Harley Davidson motorcycles that had already secured its own reputation in the minds of the people all across the world.

Till date, Harley Davidson motorcycles are considered to be one of the best bikes that money can buy. Although, they are a bit expensive they ensure superb performance that will make sure that you feel like a king when you are riding this two-wheeled monster. Today, there are more than million Harley Davidson motorcycles sold across the globe.
